Intel Developer Forum--Medis Technologies

Geek out with me a sec. I have a confession to make. Other than simply relishing San Francisco, I was in the city last week to attend the Intel Developer Forum with Medis Technologies, who exhibited their 24/7 Fuel Cell Power Pack (a disposable "green" energy power charger for handheld devices--cell phones, MP3 players, Gameboys, PSPs, etc.), the prototype for the forthcoming next generation REFUELABLE Power Pack charger (featuring a patented solid fuel) and the program for their 20 watt system for laptops.

Tis' the height of the tech convention season (for example Intel Developer Forum, Salesforce.com, TechCrunch40--held at the Palace hotel where I was staying-- and a few others were all happening in SF last week).

It was a busy week, with a steady flow of curious attendees and press for whom we demonstrated the Power Pack (this is the first fuel cell to be sold to the consumer market),upcoming refuelable technology and discussed the company's endeavors overall.

The 24/7 Fuel Cell Power Pack is currently available for purchase ONLINE with increased distribution by year's end and 2008.
